She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Larry Patrick Hughey; her parents, Petronella Willumeit and Maximilian Willumeit; and her siblings, Viola, George, Lorna, Elsa, Daniel and Leonard.

She is survived by: her son Patrick; and her granddaughter Jessica Adam. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and many other family members.
