It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Major Lorraine Burry (Oshawa, Ontario), who passed away on May 16, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Major Lorraine departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Major Lorraine. Though Major Lorraine may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Salvation Army Oshawa Temple (570 Thornton Rd N, Oshawa, ON L1J6T6). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
