She was predeceased by: her sisters, Nellie (Eddie Deschene) of Sault Ste and Marie. She is survived by: her sibling Tia (Paul Woodcroft) of Prince Albert; and her sibling's children, Rob, Paul, Ray and Michelle.

The family of Margaret Durkin will receive friends in the Chapel of the Holy Cross Catholic Church, 373 Simcoe Street South in Oshawa on Friday, December 20th from 10 – 11 a.m. Celebration of the Mass will be held in the Church at 11 a.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to Chalice Canada, # 101 - 26 Union Street, Bedford, NS B4A 2B5 .
