It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maria Lamers (Oshawa, Ontario), who passed away on September 9, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Maria Lamers to show support.
She was predeceased by: her husband John; her parents, Jacobus VandeVossenberg and Antonia VandeVossenberg; and her siblings, Miep, Anton, Petra, John, Nelly and Lani.
She is survived by: her children, Eric (Marie) and Leslie (Memo Maquivar); her grandchildren, Graham, Abbey and Kai; and her siblings, Tiny, Annie, Adrian, Jose and Agnes. She is also survived by her many in-laws and extended family.
Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, September 18th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p. m. Due to Covid masks are mandatory.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be really appreciated.
