With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Frances Elston (Oshawa, Ontario), who passed away on February 21, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Marilyn's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Marilyn has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her brother Jerry (Diane). She is survived by: her husband Robert (Bob); and her children, Mark (Colleen), Lee (Brenda), Scott (Brenda) and Diane (Michael Bacon). She is also survived by her extended family and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Oshawa Funeral Home (847 King St W, Oshawa, ON L1J2L4). A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the choir of Kingsview United Church or Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
