She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Liberato Cappuccitti (Armando) and Emma Castaldi (Mike Bortolussi); her former husband Mike Ziccardi; her grandchildren, Isaac (Alexandra Bertolo), Ava, Matteo and Christian; her sister Silvana; her husband Joe; her nieces, Louise and Jenny; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Isabella and Luca.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H1B6). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the St. Gertrude's Parish (690 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H1G5). An entombment was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (355 Taunton Rd E, Whitby, ON L1R3L4).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
