It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marita Kate (Gorny) Hanske (Oshawa, Ontario), who passed away on June 23, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Volkmar Hanske. She is survived by: her mother Ilse Hanske; her daughter Kristy; her brothers, Raimund (Lore) and Werner (Gisela); her granddaughter Emilia; and her son James Gorny. She is also survived by her many nephews, nieces and friends.
Due to covid restrictions, Thornton Cemetery has asked anyone wishing to attend to please contact the family, if you have not already confirmed.
