She was predeceased by : her husband Steve. She is survived by : her grandchildren, Laura (Dave), David, Ashley, Brock, Ryan and Brooklyn; and her great grandchildren, Chloe and Audrey.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Armstrong Funeral Home Chapel (124 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H1B6). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H1B6). A burial was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (355 Taunton Rd E, Whitby, ON L1R3L4).

She was an annual winner of awards from The City of Oshawa receiving the "Premier Garden of the Week" recognizing her multiple award winning gardens and to thank her for her contribution to the beautification of the City.
