He was predeceased by: his wife Annette; and his sibling Mary-Lou (Andy). He is survived by: his children, Janice Shemko (Ian) and Robert Ryan (Lucy); his granddaughters, Aimee (Jeanne), Stephanie (Keenan) and Annette (Roy); his great grandchildren, Zepplynn, Scarlett and Logan; and his siblings, Patricia (late John), Charlie (Marie), Cathy (Derek), Ethel (Ed) and Nora (Cyril).
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H1B6). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or Canadian Cancer Society.
