It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Muriel Jean (Boddy) McGahey (Oshawa, Ontario), who passed away on April 8, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Myrtle Boddy and Harold Boddy; her siblings, Dorothy (Elliott), Audrey (Todd), Doreen (Northey) and Gord (Jackie); her husband Vincent McGahey; her children, Howard (Lynne Richards), Warren (Hazel Harrison), Stuart and Diane (Bruce Kindree); her daughter-in-law Beth (Karl Neubauer); her grandchildren, Alison, Laura, Nicholas, Jessica, Douglas, Lauren and Madison; her great grandchildren, Natalie, Tyler, Lucas, Zoey, Lincoln, Oliver and Vincent; her stepgrandchildren, Gillian, Brodie and Ashley; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Oliver, Jamie, Lennon, Meredith and Sebastian; and her friend Forty Creek. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She turned 96 in March of this year and luckily, we were able to celebrate her birthday as a family before the pandemic prevented us from being together.
