She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Miller; her children, Barb Miller and Frankie Miller; her parents, Timothy Longhurst and Helen Longhurst; and her siblings, Wilf Longhurst, Wild Merv Longhurst, Mervin Fowler and Bev Orlicky.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Miller, Shane Miller and June Dobbin (Derrick); her grandchildren, Zachary Miller, Tanya Skeoch (Gord), Sheri Hartle (Jason), Adriane Miller, Caleb Payne, Anthony Miller and Jaclyn Wadden; and her niece Carol Martell.
Memorial donations to the Durham Children's Aid Society would be honouring Muriel and greatly appreciated by her family.
