She was predeceased by: her parent Michael O'Connor; her husband Gerard Roy; her child Paul Smith; and her siblings, James, Michael, Jack, Thomas, Dermot, Betty (Russell), Margaret (Menton) and Pauline (Monks).
She is survived by: her parent Margaret O'Connor; her children, Yvonne Parnell, Mark Smith (Jo-Ann), Solo Chansa Kaunda and Elita Munsha Chalwe; her grandchildren, Jess Smith, James, Tom Parnell, Adam, Andrew, Laura Smith and Katherine Palesch; her siblings, Kathleen Weatherstone of Vancouver and Patricia Warner of Vancouver; and her siblings-in-law, Des Warner, Bina O'Connor and Pauline O'Connor. She is also survived by her many nephews and nieces.
Donations in memory of Nancy to St. Gertrude's Catholic Church (Building Fund) would be appreciated in lieu of flowers and can be made through the funeral home.
