He was predeceased by: his wife Rosa Rose (Amato); his parents, Joseph and Ma-Rose; and his sisters, Peggy, Lynette and Anne.

He is survived by: his children, Lewis (Amanda) and Rena (Anthony); his grandchildren, Danielle (Travis), Dominic and Wilt; and his sisters, Linda and Dolly. He is also survived by his extended family and friends.
