Paula Catherine Canapini Obituary
We announce the death of Paula Catherine Canapini (Oshawa, Ontario), who passed away on July 15, 2026, at the age of 63. Paula will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Howard and Maureen Howard; and her aunt Kate O'Shaughnessy. She is survived by: her husband Tony Canapini; her children, Catherine (Matt), Christine (Colin) and Matthew (Courtney); her sister Rebecca Martellacci (Luigi); her in-laws, Ernie and Wanda Canapini; her siblings-in-law, Mike (Karen) and Jane (Henk); her nieces and nephews, Joe (Kelsey), Julia (Chris), Gavin and Myla; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Lilah, Charlotte, Ben and Summer. She is also survived by her husband, her children, her grandchildren, her family, her friends.
A Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 29th, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church at 21 Bayly St E, Ajax followed by an Irish send-off in her honour, filled with music, food, drinks and laughter at BOND|ST EVENT CENTRE, at 44 Bond St E in Oshawa on Wednesday, July 29th, 2026, starting at 4:00 p.m. In honour of Paula, memorial donations may be made to the Society of the Little Flower, https://ca.littleflower.org, a charity that held a special place in her heart.
