It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rick Bunt (Oshawa, Ontario), who passed away on May 19, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert and Annie. He is survived by: his spouse Pat; his children, Jennifer, Lori-Anne (Paul) and Theresa; his granddaughters, Gillian and Audrey; and his siblings, Alice, Marlene, Cliff and Anne. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oshawa Funeral Home (847 King St W, Oshawa, ON L1J2L4). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church (1314 Oxford St, Oshawa, ON L1J3W6).
In lieu of flowers the family are kindly asking for donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
