Rita Marie Wrubel Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on April 2, 2026, at the age of 84, Rita Marie Wrubel (Oshawa, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cardinal and Laura Cardinal; her brothers, John and Gerald; her sister-in-law Wanda (Joe); and her nephew Bob.
She is survived by: her husband Joe; her sister Margaret (John); her children, Richard (Carol), Lisa (Lon) and Raymond (Marlene); her grandchildren, Kari (Andrew), Amy (Mitch), Kevin, Cara (Brett), Mark (Ruthie), Alana (Joey), Julia (Kyle), Justin and Jade (Dylan); her great grandchildren, Kira, Ava, Mia, Owen, Miles and Everett; her sister-in-law Elaine; her nieces, Janet (Vlad), Susan and Lori; and her nephew David. She is also survived by her many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Rita's favourite charities, Covenant House or St. Vincent de Paul – Oshawa Chapter.
