He was predeceased by: his former wife Yvonne Griffin; his parents, Milton Bender and Verna Bender; his sister Yvonne Richards; and his son Jeff.

He is survived by: his wife Maureen; his children, Cam (Cathy), Janice, Glenn (Cathy) and Gail (Mike); his daughter-in-law Lesley (Kevin); his grandchildren, Evan (Natalie), Jennifer (Jesse), Carter (Brittany), Robyn, Jason, Christopher, Matthew and Ryan; and his great grandchild Blake.
