He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mabel Deighton; his parents, Isabelle Deighton and Herbert Deighton; his children, Dave Deighton (Michelle), Deborah Deighton, Darlene Ellis (Boyd) and Diane Veloce (late Frank Veloce); his grandchildren, Amy Ryan (Dan), Leslie Welsh (Dave), Carrie Deighton, Candice Veloce-Sykes (Craig), Cory Veloce (Teri-Anne Schneider), Seth Stewart, Crystal White (Darryl), Robert Ellis, Lisa Ellis and Carl Ellis (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Kylie Ryan, Justin Ryan, Leo Sykes, Olivia Sykes, Peyton White, Serina Ellis and Sierra Ellis; and his siblings, Donald Deighton (Patricia), Patricia MacDonald (late Joseph), Heather Harwood (Steve), Sandra Veronneau (Arsene) and Lee Ann Post (David).
