He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Ricica and Beatrice Ricica; and his mother-in-law Audrey Hawker. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Daniel (Lais), Lori (Angelo), Thomas (Jill) and Michael (Erinn); his grandchildren, Claire, Graham, Adam, Bradley, Ryan, Emily, Amber, James, Chelsea, Mikayla and Allyson; his siblings, Don (Shea) and Kathy (Paul); his parent-in-law Gord; and his sister-in-law Janice Hawker. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
