We announce the death of Robert John Tumey (Oshawa, Ontario), who passed away on August 27, 2026. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouses, Mary-Grace and Viena Whalley; his children, Janice Pursiainen (Raymond) of Coldwater and Peter Tumey (Mary-Lynn) of Oshawa; his grandchildren, David, Michael, Caitlin (Derek) and Laura; his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Remi; and his stepdaughters, Eva Gainer (Jonathan), Leah Somers (Jack) and Lisa Talvak (Bill).

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McIntosh-Anderson-Kellam Funeral Home (152 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H1B6). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Donations in memory of Bob to Lakeridge Health Oshawa or CNIB would be appreciated.
