He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his children, Lyn (late Mark Malion) and Mark (Pam); his grandchildren, Aaron (Lindsay), Landon (Rachel), Ryan (Christine), Danielle (Brendan), Shaelyn (Christian), Alicia and Austin; and his great grandchild Aela.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. George's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Ron's memory.
