Ross Mackie Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ross Mackie (Oshawa, Ontario), who passed away on March 7, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ross Mackie to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle and Amanda; his wife Diana; and his sister Marilyn. He is survived by: his sons, Norm (Andrea), Dean (Cindy) and Scott (Laura); his grandchildren, Jeff (Carly), Michael, Ross, Evan, Jake, Josh, Melissa (Joshua), Brooke (Samantha) of Paul, JR, Stefani (Tom), Sara, Brett (Meaghan), Matthew, Derek (Madeline), Spencer and Summer (Holden); his great grandchildren, James, Blayke, Tripp, Fisher, Elliott Anne, Michael, Cameron, Duke, Jaxon, Caleb, Hudson, Henry, Sofia and Scarlett; and his nephew Merle Schewaga (Donna).

Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H1B6). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at 2700 Audley Rd, Ajax, ON L1Z1T7.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Grandview Children's Centre or Lakeridge Health Oshawa Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. Donations are being accepted for: GRANDVIEW CHILDREN'S CENTRE LAKERIDGE HEALTH FOUNDATION (Lakeridge Health Foundation).
