He is survived by: his mother Doreen Samuel; his fiancé Vinta Bute; his children, Marlene Patterson, Abigail Patterson, Gaston Patterson, Otega Edwards, Notlee Jackson, Alsnue Patterson and Ashana Patterson; his adoptive daughter Kaylisa Porter; his grandchildren, Shazel Patterson, Asbert Fisher, David Kambi, Crystal Fisher, Jucilla Fisher, Dave Patterson, Cynthia Patterson, Elijah Patterson, Amayah Patterson, Kaveah Patterson, Daph Happi-Patterson, Lily Patterson, Olaina Edwards, Shalom Johnson, Adannaya Ndi and Roy Gbedze; his siblings, Hillary Edwards, Jerome Young, Bibby Samuel, Franklin Samuel, June Samuel Henry, Reena Samuel and Doris Walker; his children-in-law, Kezal Johnson, Ikegod Ndi, Edem Gbedze, Kamica Patterson and Sara Patterson; his siblings-in-law, Denzil Henry, Bancroft Walker, Violet Young, Sandra Samuel and Sinita Samuel; his niece Merei Dixon; his daughter Munga; and his grandson Jaydon Jackson. He is also survived by nephews, extended family members, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H1B6). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
