She was predeceased by: her spouse Murray Pardo Townsend; her child Ted Townsend; and her sisters, Edith and Beth. She is survived by: her children, Richard Townsend (Sharon), Leslie Joynt (Peter) and Mary Clark (Graham); her grandchildren, Jennifer (Dave), Craig (Claire), Sarah (Eli), Colin (Laura), Jessica (Fred), Lisa (Myles), Cameron (Saei) and David (Allison); and her great grandchildren, Max, Grace, Fiona, Nolan, Lisle, James, Lauren, Avery, Sloan, Luca, Duncan, Morgan, Dylan and Ewan.
