Sandy Wood Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandy Wood (Oshawa, Ontario), who passed away on May 5, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Jean King; and his siblings, Danny Wood (Twyra) and Kay Barrow (Bob). He is survived by: his daughters, Veronica (Dale Albers), Brandi (Andrew Pigou) and Chantell (John Lee); his siblings, Bruce (late Susan Wood) and Connie Marion (Telly); his grandchildren, Alex, Preston, Cyrus Albers, Ethan, Gracie Pigou, Tyler, Owen and Kaleb Lee; his aunt Sandra; and his uncle George. He is also survived by cousins/relatives.

Covid-19 prohibited visitors at the hospital, so Sandy was extremely grateful that Mabel Fong, best friend, was able to be there, and cannot thank you enough for all the prayers, kind support and love that he received via Facebook and telephone from so many families and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be welcome for either: The Heart & Stroke Foundation or The Alzheimer's Society.
