He was predeceased by: his father Jack Gilbert Sr.; and his brother Jack Gilbert Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Tasha, Terry Jr., Tara, Travis and Elicia; his grandchildren, Levi and AshLynn; his mother Loreen Mowatt; and his siblings, Geneva, Barbara and Nathan. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and cousins.
