She was predeceased by: her siblings, Mary, Margaret, Owen, Edward, Reta, Regena and Patrick.

She is survived by: her children, John Duquette, Jane Thompson (Bruce), Margaret Sutherland (Keith), Chris Pichler (Diane) and Irene Rose (Martin); her grandchildren, Aaron Thompson (Natasha), Chelsea Thompson, Lindsay Sutherland, Katie Sutherland, Megan Sutherland (Dave Regan), Alex Pichler, Cailyn Pichler, Tyler Rose and Bradley Rose; her great grandchild Rowen Regan; and her sister Eileen Sourisseau.

In Monica's memory, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
