He is survived by: his wife Joan MacLeod; his children, Beth Medhurst and Tyrone Phair (Jennifer); his sibling Jean Burrell; and his grandchildren, Sean, Joel, Dodi, Robert, Lindsay, Hayley, Taylor and Emily. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
