He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife May; his children, Jacqueline Arbuckle (Scott), Elaine Smith (Ron), Ian Girvan and Derek Girvan; his grandchildren, Crystal, Caitlin (Evan), Michelle (Alex), Chelsea, Adam (Temeka), Connor (Jessica), Brandon, Daniel (Meaghan), Amy and Gavin; his great grandchildren, Hailey, Chace, Beau, Freya, Sydney and William; and his sister Anne.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H1B6). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association.
