She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Alan John Shortt; her sons, Ronald Whitby (Linda) and Willis Milton (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Daniel, Jason, Adam, Ben and Danielle; her great grandchild Mya; her parents, Richard Cecil Bint and Vera Elizabeth Shemilt; and her siblings, Ray Bint, Ruth Beadle and John Bint (Marie) of Belleville. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
