With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Victor Michael Read (Oshawa, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Read; his brother Keith Houckley; and his great grandchild Ivy Finlayson. He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his children, Robin Hachey (Dan) and Gary Read (Maggie); his grandchildren, Christian St. Pierre (Jasmin), Daniel St. Pierre, Stephen Read, Richard Davenport, Jordyn Finlayson (Chad) and Kaitlyn Read; and his great grandchildren, Carter Read, Isabella Davenport, Kye Finlayson, Jathanelle Latulippe, Jasmine Hachey and Violet Latulippe.
