He was predeceased by: his wife Santina; and his son Joe (Nella). He is survived by: his daughter Tina (John); his grandsons, Robert (Soyeon) and Anthony (Michelle); and his great grandchild Joon.

A funeral service was held on Monday, March 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the DeStefano Funeral Home Chapel (1289 Keith Ross Dr, Oshawa, ON L1H7K4). An entombment was held on Monday, March 2nd 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Highland Memory Gardens (33 Memory Gardens Ln, North York, ON M2H3K4).
