She was predeceased by: her great grandchild Taylor; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Trever, Spenser and Arlene; her parents, Charles Thornington and Alice Thornington (Weale); and her siblings, Larry (late Lylah), Lillian (late Doug), Herb (late Anna), Ella (late George), Albert, Ted (late June) and Stan (Gerry).

She is survived by: her husband Fred; her children, Steven (Brenda) of Bowmanville and Diane (John Campbell) of Norwood; her grandchildren, Scott Goff (Sheri), Brian Anderson (Kirsten), Paul Goff (Rae), Patricia Schram (Luke) and Lisa Runcieman (Michael); her great grandchildren, Nate, Laura, Megan, Zoey, Rachel, Leighton, Valerie, Weston, Vivian, Lincoln, Averie and Harrison; her sisters, Alberta Howard (late Earl) and Doris Thornington; and her siblings-in-law, Gerry Thornington (late Stan), Dorothy Anderson (late Duncan) and Winnie Millard (late Claude). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
