She was predeceased by: her husband Reginald Thomas Barr; and her former husband David Leroy Johnson. She is survived by: the mother of her child Linda (Larry); her sons, Gary (Christine), Wayne (Debbie) and Kevin (Linda); her grandchildren, Karen (Jason), Dan, Matthew, Kasten (Mark) and Tyler; her great grandchildren, Kayla, Kjerstin, Nathan, Kallie, Caroline and Ainsley; her stepchildren, Tom Barr and Robin Miller (Rand); her sisters, Ailene and Wilma; and also Jeanne.
Memorial donations in Wanesa's memory can be made to College Park Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Oshawa.
