William Mantel Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate William Mantel (Oshawa, Ontario), whose life came to an end on November 8, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthhijs Mantel and Jantje Mantel; his wife Carol; and his brother Pieter Mantel (Gladys). He is survived by: his girlfriend Diane Harris; his children, Mike Mantel (Louise) and Betty Arellano (Ceasar); his stepsons, Michael and Mark Harris; his siblings, Maarten Mantel (Maple) and John Mantel (Shirley); and his grandsons, Dan Dunk (Laura), Tim and Josh (Sabrina). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Loyal Order of Moose (731 Wilson Rd S, Oshawa, ON L1H6E9). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
