He was predeceased by: his parents, Juliana Egger and Paul Nahirny. He is survived by: his sisters, Amalia (late Ludwig Huss) and Mary (Frank Biringer); his siblings' children, Manfred (Sigrid), Ingrid (Ken), Stephen (Katie) and Lisa; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kristina, Stephanie, Elyssa, Michael, Adalyn and Brielle; his caregiver Jaclyn Pagnotta; and his nephew Richard (Kendra).

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Edmund of Canterbury Church (105 Bd Beaconsfield, Beaconsfield, QC H9W3Z8). A Mass will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
