He was predeceased by: his parents, Ziva and Stojanka; his parents-in-law, Anna Szeghalmi and Jeno Szeghalmi; his sisters, Biserka, Omerka and Ljubica; and his nephew Ian.

He is survived by: his wife Rozalia; his children, Robert and Cynthia (Kerry); his granddaughters, Kassandra and Abbygayle; his brother Mike (Ursula); and his brothers-in-law, Zoltan Szeghalmi (Cathy), Jeno Szeghalmi (Yvonne) and Serge Piskun. He is also survived by his nieces/nephews/cousins and friends.
