We bid farewell to Abilio Duarte Mello (Ottawa, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 11, 2025 at the age of 91. Abilio touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Abilio shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Abilio farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Odete; and his brothers, Josue, Virgil and Dionisio. He is survived by: his daughters, Adriana (Luis Azevedo) and Margaret (Glenn MacDonald). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, godchildren, extended family, and friends.
