She was predeceased by: her siblings, Frances Macrae and Thayer Bouck; her children, Susan Catt (Russ) and Michael Bell (Sandra Monkewhich); her husband Douglas Bell of Queen's University; her former spouse Dr. Mustafa Alkan; and her husband Geoffery Colley.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Geoffery (Jennifer Milk), Douglas (Deva Delanoe), Anne-Marie (Bill Sparks) and Lynda (Tim Jordan); her stepgrandchildren, Anna, Patrick, Robby, Stephen, Christopher, Kate and Sam; her sisters, Wendy MacDonell and Barbara Good; and her son Ian Bell (Lynda).
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & Mc (315 McLeod St, Ottawa, ON K2P1A2).
