As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Alan may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery (3700 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa, ON K2C3H1). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
If so desired, donations may be made to the Ottawa Rotary Home where his beautiful son receives programming and respite.
