Though Ali may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ali touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mahmoud Jalloul and Jamileh Khalil; and his brother Mohammad. He is survived by: his spouse Fariza Mustafa Kassem; and his children, Manale (Khalil Al Zein), Diana (Fadi Dergham), Dr. Mirna (Abdel Karim Damaj) and Lina (Hamza Kalakish).
A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home & Chapel (1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K1V1A6). A burial was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ottawa Muslim Cemetery (1668 Manotick Station Rd, Greely, ON K4P1K4).
