With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anne Abou-Arrage of Ottawa, Ontario, who passed away on May 21, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ellen and Nicholas Fitzgerald; and her brothers, Mike and Brendan Fitzgerald. She is survived by: her daughters, Catherine El-Tawil (Toni), Rita Abou-Arrage and Tina Deland; her husband Joseph Abou-Arrage; her grandchildren, Isabella El-Tawil, Sophia El-Tawil, Noah Deland and Stella Deland; and her brothers, Dermot Fitzgerald (Helen), Raymond Fitzgerald (Sharon), Gerard Fitzgerald (Donna), Bill Fitzgerald, Kevin Fitzgerald, Joe Fitzgerald (Winnie), Ross Fitzgerald (Laurie), Nick Fitzgerald and Don Fitzgerald.
She always made time to ensure others were well taken care of, whether it was buying coffee and donuts for coworkers, donating toys and clothing to friends in need, sending meals to sick family members, and spoiling her grandchildren.
