He was predeceased by: his parents, Johann Hellriegel and Theresa Mueller. He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Munroe and Linda Ott (Jerry); his granddaughters, Jessica Ott and Theresa Trus (Peter); his sister Emilie Dammert; his nephews, Alexander (Katja) and Peter (Helga); his great-niece Mia; and his great-nephew Moritz (Suzanne Laplante).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shields Funeral Homes & Chapel (1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K1V1A6). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Hope Cemetery (4660 Bank St, Gloucester, ON K1T0Y7).
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Bruyere Continuing Care or a charity of your choice.
