It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barry. With family by his side on Monday August 28, 2023 at the Ottawa General Hospital, at the age of 80. Loving spouse of Pauline Kyer. Former husband of the late Monique (née Saey), and the late Helene (née Rochon). Devoted father to Michael (Alissa) and predeceased by son, Daniel. Cherished grandfather of Benjamin and Wayne, step-grandfather of Andrew and Emily. He also leaves behind his furry friend, Buddy. Beloved brother of Janet (Lee). Barry was predeceased by his father Herbert, mother Lillian, and siblings Nola (Abb), Lawrence (Edith), Herb (Marion), Harold (Carol), and Donald (Carol). Barry’s memory will always be cherished by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Barry was a talented carpenter (retired), a huge sports fan and outdoorsman. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards and being around his friends. The family would like to thank the staff at the Ottawa General Hospital for their support and care of Barry.
