As Beatrice Kulsum departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Beatrice Kulsum. Though Beatrice Kulsum may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred Ramlochand; and her children, Maureen Neisha Naimoon (Rohoman), Aileen Ishoon Ally (Rahamat) and Loxton Hazare Ameerally (Khasifa). She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Yasmin Razack (Mohamed), Lennox Ameerally Harvey (Sita) and Compton Ameerally. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Shields Funeral Homes & Chapel (1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K1V1A6). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home & Chapel (1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K1V1A6).
