With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bernard Rosenblatt (Ottawa, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 4, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Bernard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bernard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ethel; his daughter Debbie; his siblings, Sidney (Christine) and Evelyn Hoffman; and his brother-in-law Issie Hoffman.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bernie's memory to Hillel Lodge Long Term Care foundation (https://hillel-ltc.com) or the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be greatly appreciated by his family.
