Bernard Ship Obituary
In loving memory of Bernard Ship (Ottawa, Ontario), who departed this world on October 6, 2025 at the age of 86. Bernard leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Ship and Carl Ship; his brother Larry (late Lorie); and his siblings-in-law, Aileen Tenenbaum and Ben Ami (Tina).
He is survived by: his wife Leona; his children, Harold (Keren), Donna (Jeffery) and Daniel (Jessica); his grandchildren, Norman (Kana), William, Lily and Shivam; his brother Michael (Nancy); and his siblings-in-law, Lotte Manel (Phil) and Sheryl Weinberger (Ervin). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Jewish Memorial Gardens (2692 Bank St, Gloucester, ON K1T1M9). A reception will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
