He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, John (Jill) and Patricia (Brian); his grandchildren, Georgia, Cameron, Norah and Liam; his sisters, Cathy Holman (John), Elsie Ettinger (Philip), Evelyn Deale (Sonny), Anne Hines and Margaret (Geoff); his parents, John Dechman and Jane Dechman; and his wife Terry.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9).
