He was predeceased by: his wife Fran Gilman. He is survived by: his daughters, Heather Foy (Kevin) and Carol Viau (Glen); his granddaughters, Madelyn Foy and Annabelle Colvin Viau; his close friend Judith Rygiel; and his brother Peter.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pinecrest Reception Centre (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9).
