It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Candida (Sudiacal) Vidal (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Balbino Sudiacal and Catalina Soriano; and her spouse Efraim A Vidal. She is survived by: her children, Nelson (late Carmelita Espino), Unoflor (Clotilde Canizares), Rebecca Kathleen, Grace (Teodoro Oviedo), Meca Veta, Mecelina (Alex Guazon), Mira (Kenny Tan), Kim (Ken Kim), Efraim Jr. (Michaela Cruz), Marma (David Anderson) and Marijoy (Rey Cubar). She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & Mc (1200 Ogilvie Rd, Ottawa, ON K1J8V1). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bells Corners United Church (3955 Old Richmond Rd, Ottawa, ON K2H5C5). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Beechwood Cemetery (280 Beechwood Ave., Vanier, ON K1L8E2).
